Year 3 have been thoroughly enjoying all of the learning in their topic about Ancient Egypt. From mummification to pharaohs, papyrus to pyramids - it’s all been great fun! Above all, we have really, really enjoyed all of the wonderful, creative art and design opportunities that this topic has presented.
So far, the children have designed and created canopic jars, sarcophaguses, masks depicting the Egyptian gods and jewellery; taking time to learn about many different aspects of ancient Egyptian life along the way. On top of that, in preparation for our upcoming production, the children have also worked together to make the costumes, the props and the set for all of the scenes. What a tremendous effort!
Well done everyone in year 3 for their fantastic effort and wonderful learning. We look forward to seeing all of the Year 3 parents for our production on 20th May.
