Update on Friday 30th June

Our BSB Team is attending World Scholar's Cup (WSC) Global Round 2017! This is taking place from June 26- July 1, 2017 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Today is the last day for the Junior team. In the morning we returned to Hanoi Convention Centre and watched Scholars from all over the world dance, sing and play musical instruments in the second part of the talent show.

After lunch it was time for the Awards Ceremony where we would find out how well our Junior team had done. Our students competed against 2,000 students.

Our BSB Junior Team achieved amazing results as follows:
  • Barbel Schade received a silver medal (top 20% of students) for Science in the Scholars challenge and for champion scholar.
  • Barbel also received gold medals (top 10%) for debating and top scholar in the Junior division for BSB.
  • Laura Kim and Paul Vittot both received a gold (top 10%) Da Vinci Medal for their overall academic achievement.

Tomorrow is our last day and the day we find out how well our senior team of Zanda Stapelberg, Jeremy Cao and Seungwook Kim did before returning home for a well earned rest.
