Ed Davenport

Ed Davenport

Year 3 teacher

I graduated from Northumbria University in 2010 (Environmental management), before I decided to become a teaching assistant in November 2012 at a secondary academy in west Norfolk, UK. I held this role for 13 months, working on a one-to-one basis and small focus groups with SEN and EAL children.

I have lived in Beijing since January 2014, teaching business English to adults, before starting my position here at BSB. I started teaching in Year 6 and then moved onto to Year 3 for 3 consecutive years, including the 2017/18 academic year.

As a classroom teacher I thoroughly enjoy my responsibilities and the opportunities it gives me to interact with the students. My other hobbies include reading science-fiction and fantasy books and football.
