    Kira Tosi

    Kira is currently a Senior who has attended BISB for 15 years. Born to a Russian-Italian family, Kira is the oldest of three. She lives right down the street from BISB in Jamaica Plain and is happy to answer any questions about the area.  

    As an Admissions Ambassador and Head Girl, Kira is excited to help new families feel welcome and promote School Spirit!

    Oscar Wang

    Oscar has been a BISB student for four years since the beggining of Year 8. As an only child, Oscar was born in China to a Chinese-Korean family, but moved to Singapore when he was ten years old. Now he lives with his parents in Needham. 

    Oscar's favorite aspect of BISB is the welcoming and friendly community. Because BISB is quite small, all of the students, teachers, and parents know each other very well. Every day he comes to school feeling happy and a part of our amazing community.

    Victor Echaniz

    Victor was born in Venezuela to a Hungraian-European family. After joining BISB in Primary School, Victor has been a student here for 10 years with his younger sister, Sofia. 

    What he likes most about the school is the number of external opportunities and activities that BISB offers through Nord Anglia Education, as well as the diversity of nationalities within the student body.

    He is excited to be an Admissions Ambassador because he would like to share all of his personal experiences throughout the last 10 years.

    Katherine Ge

    Year 12 student, Katherine, recently moved to Newton from China with her family and twin brother George. She enjoys the amount of individual attention that students receive from their teachers at BISB. The small class sizes allow teachers to have a clear understanding of each students' strengths and weaknesses, and afford students indivudual support when needed. 

    She is extremely excited about being an Admission Ambassador because she wants to share her happiness at BISB with new families and students so that they can feel the hospitality BISB gave to her when she first arrived.

    Sofia Echaniz

    Year 9 Student

    Sofia Echaniz

    Sofia has been a student at the British International School of Boston since Year 1. She is currently in Year 9 and her older brother, Victor, is currently in Year 12. 

    As a Brookline resident, Sofia comes from a very comlpex family heritage. Her mother's family is Hungarian, but she was born and raised in Venezuela and her father's family is Italian, Uruguayan, and Lithuanian but he was raised in Venezuela. That is part of the reason why she loves this school so much as she feels that there is a huge amount of cultural diversity.

    This year as an Admissions Ambassdor, Sofia hopes to show prospective families our wonderful community and share all that she loves about her favorite teachers and their engaging lessons.

    David Goodman

    David has been at the school for eight years. Currently he lives on the South Shore with his parents and three brothers who are also students at BISB. 

    David's favorite aspect about BISB is our amazing Science program. He loves how BISB teaches the core subjects cross-curricularly and the hands-on learning approach to STEAM.

    Ava is currently in her seventh year at BISB with her younger sister, Lilia. Born in Massachusetts, Ava is of Iranian descent and lives in South Natick.

    Each day that Ava comes to school, she feels inspired by the teachers. They push her to do her best, exceed her own expectations, and to truly love learning.
