Earth Day
Earth Day is marked annually to show awareness for the Earth and various environmental issues. This week, Friday, BISB is marking Earth Day with a series of exciting, fun and educational events. House points will be awarded to all the events. For Primary, there will be a treasure hunt for facts about endangered species. This will run throughout the day, and the students who find and record the most Earth day facts will score House points for their own individual House.
For secondary, there will be an Earth day quiz, which all the classes will be involved in, during tutor time. In addition, a seminar will be held in period 2 in assembly, where students will have the chance to present their individual business proposals for a self-sustainable product or project. All students who participate will receive a House point, however, additional House points will be awarded to the most realistic, intriguing and persuasive pitch. The winner House, with the most points at the end of the day, will be rewarded with a non-uniform day.
On Earth day, a vegetarian lunch will be provided by the school canteen. We are all enthusiastic about Earth Day, a very interesting and engaging day for all our students.
Happy Earth Day!
