Eszter Valko Director of Finance and Operations teaches Budgeting

Year 13 IBDP Business Management Higher Level students had the privilege of Ms Valko, the school’s Director of Finance and Operations, visiting them in class to talk about her role at BISB.

Ms Valko covered a range of topics within the Finance and Accounting unit such as

• Costs and revenues
• Final accounts
• Sources of Finance
• Profits
• Cashflow
• Budgeting

The students reacted positively to Ms Valko’s presentation and were given real-life examples in the context of the school and they all agreed it was a fantastic opportunity to learn about finance and in particular budgeting.
