Hungarian History Students visit Visegrád

In Hungarian History lessons students have been learning about the Hungarian kings of the 14^th and 15^th Century. On Tuesday 21^st May our Year 7 Hungarian students visited Visegrád to give them a chance to see where and how the kings had lived and what weapons their knights used. We visited the Royal Palace where we heard interesting stories about King Mátyás and familiarised ourselves with renaissance lifestyle. We were then able to see an exciting joust re-enactment on the terrace of Salamon tower. Finally, we had a tour in the Visegrád Citadel where we learnt a lot about battles and had a great view of the Danube.
