Simon Riley

Simon Riley

Year 4 Heather Teacher

Mr Riley graduated with a degree in Sports Science in Nottingham and then qualified as a teacher at Swansea University. His teaching career began in Liverpool, UK where he stayed for many years in two schools as P.E coordinator initially and class teacher and feels proud to have contributed to forming a successful cross country team. Mr Riley's role as ICT coordinator was at a time when this subject gained a high profile and it was a pleasure for him to help implement the subject into the school’s curriculum. Joining the British International School Budapest was an opportunity to be part of the successful and expanding Nord Anglia Educational group, an opportunity Mr Riley was glad to take on.

From since Mr Riley can remember he has enjoyed the sport of athletics and follows events closely.  He runs every day for enjoyment and tries to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Helping others has always been close to his heart, this is why he became a teacher. He always hopes that children in his care are happy in school, as learning should be enjoyable!
