Staff Profile - Shirley Yambot

Early Learning 2 and 3 Learning Leader

Shirley joined Northbridge International School Cambodia since 2008, and started as a First Grade teacher, subsequently joining the Early Learning team after two years. She is the past and the current Learning Leader of the Early Learning 2  and 3 team.

  • BSc in Information and Computer Science, Philippines

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching Program, Philippines

She has been passionately and enthusiastically been teaching for 20 years now, seven years of which were in her country, the Philippines,  and the rest being in Cambodia. She is loving every opportunity she is learning from her experiences she has with the school, the students, the parents and the whole community. Through engaging in rich positive relationships and conversations she believes she can provide a developmentally appropriate learning experience wherein children can feel safe, happy and secure.

She is happily married to her husband Carlo and are still awaiting for an addition in their family. Cooking, dancing, eating and playing with the kids  are her passion. She is currently enjoying travelling and discovering new places.

She is a person who loves change and growth - personally and professionally - and these are the reasons why she is at Northbridge International School Cambodia.
