Aspiring Young Writers

2020 Global Campus Creative Writing Competition winners annouced!

Creative Writing

For this year's creative writing competition, students focused on figures who have made significant climate change strides in local communities.

Using 'Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls' as inspiration, in addition to the support of the team behind the book launching and judging the competition, students wrote a children's biography about a climate change rebel and created a portrait of their rebel.

The standard of writing and illustration was exceptional which resulted in a tricky job for Mrs. Charlesworth and Mrs. Bailey during the in-house judging. After much deliberation, they were able to choose the winners and congratulate them in class.
