Well done to the High School Girls Volleyball Team! The girls fought hard in the championship match, falling to Lycee Francais, but scored second place in the league.
The girls made it to the championship for the second year in a row, after dominating both sets in the semi-final. The final was shockingly close. In the first set, the Bulldogs were down by 10 and brought the score to 21-25 when the whistle blew. Despite fantastic determination, the girls lost a second close set 23-25.
We are immensely proud of the girls. We had a large squad across the Junior Varsity and Varsity Teams, which played a range of talented opposition. Their effort, sportsmanship and commitment throughout the season is applauded.
Congratulations to Jasmine, Anna and Alicia! These players have been selected for the Lake Shore Athletic League All-Conference Team. The team will represent the league in inter-conference play this school year.
