After graduating from university I worked for various companies for a few years, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I decided to follow in the footsteps of my mother to teach. After completing my teacher training I started teaching in a Catholic comprehensive school in west London in 2009. After two years there, I moved to another school in the same area as Assistant Curriculum Leader of Science. I then moved to Asia to experience new challenges and cultures, as I thoroughly enjoy traveling. I was working at St. Andrews International School, part of the Nord Anglia Education family, in Bangkok for three years and was also Head of Year during my time there.
I am an enthusiastic sports fan. In the UK, I regularly played football for a local team and after moving to Bangkok, I joined another local team in an expats league. I also take part in running and cycling in my free time. One of the benefits of working internationally is that I get to travel often and I use every opportunity to visit a new country. I also have an interest in world history, so that dictates what part of the world I visit next.
