Daniela Morales

Learning Assistant

I was born and raised in Chicago. I have four siblings, one older brother and three younger sisters. I studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago, a few months after graduating, I worked as a Special Education Classroom Assistant for Chicago Public Schools in a predominantly Hispanic/Latino neighborhood for 3 years. For some students, English was not their first language, so I would translate from English to Spanish for the students.

After moving on from the Chicago Public Schools, I moved abroad to South Korea to teach English. I lived in Korea for a little over a year, and returned to Chicago this past December.
