We are pleased to announce that Léman International School has been authorized to offer the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme to our secondary school students aged 14 and older. 

This scheme requires students to make an ongoing commitment to community service, a physical challenge and skills development.  In addition, students must plan and carry out an expedition.  This scheme is offered at many Nord Anglia schools.  Ms. Penstone administered the scheme at her previous school in Brunei and Mr. Mindorff administered the scheme at his previous school in The Bahamas. 

Their first expedition is scheduled for the end of May.

Léman International School takes the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) every year in Years 7-11 in autumn and spring. This standardised test is taken by millions of students worldwide, including a large amount of American as well as international schools.
