During my trip, I talked to a lot of people and made a lot of friends. One of them is from England but studies in Boston. Two of them are New Yorkers. Two of them are from Switzerland. And some are from South East Asia.
I stayed in Chaz's (He studied at our sister school Léman Manhattan Preparatory School and visited our school in March) house for a week before going to the forum. We attended the UNICEF Higher Level Political Forum of Global Goals. We had MUN for two days. We visited the Unite Nations headquarter and had a wonderful workshop at Julliard School. We were both in the Student Journalist Team during the week. I took over the Instagram of the World's Largest Lesson and Nord Anglia. I came back realizing that it is our generation's responsibility to take actions to achieve the Global Goals because we will become the new forces in all the fields in the world. I think it is also important for everyone to learn about the Global Goals, the situation of the world now and the urgency of achieving those goals. I was really surprised about how hard the world's leaders are working in order to make sure all the children learn about Global Goals and are aware of the importance of achieving them. We happened to run into the UN general assembly meeting during the UN tour and the meeting was about the Global Goals.
