Our season 3 sports are off to a great start. We are thrilled with the work of our students and the great development being offered by our amazing coaches.
This week, our U15 Basketball teams squared off against QSI. The boys played a really strong team game and came out with a comfortable win. The girls had some difficulty adjusting to the pace of play at the beginning but used some great in-game coaching from Ms. Taylor to have a brilliant second half and nearly pull out the win. Although they came up a bit short this time, the girls gained a lot of confidence and we are all excited about the future of the group. Meishi comes to our gym to play next Tuesday.
The U19 Soccer teams had their match postponed by QSI, but had two excellent practices this week and are really excited for their matches next Tuesday. Again, Meishi will visit Léman next Tuesday after school.
Our swimming program continues to race along! On Saturday March 23, we will host a special training session and mini-meet which we have offered to all CISA schools. This will provide swimmers with the opportunity for some extra practice, but even more importantly, will provide swimmers with a run-through of how a swim meet works so they are more comfortable when the CISA meet takes place at our pool on April 23rd.
Go Red Pandas!
