Cheena's Class

Grade 2 Music

Ways of Being - EXPRESSIVE

The grade 2 classes have been learning the characteristics of a dotted note. They use their minds to describe how it differs from the even rhythm and how it feels when using it.  Mostly, the lessons are all about listening, interpreting and expressing their thoughts. Because you know, performing arts learners of Nord Anglia are EXPRESSIVE. Wink!

Grade 1 Music

Ways of Being - COLLABORATIVE

The grade 1 classes focus on learning Bach’s scale shapes. Students are able to distinguish the direction of the pitches whether it is rising, falling or even hilly. One of the activities was that students had a partner to describe the shapes of the scale. The students were very excited to collaborate with their classmates.
