On behalf of everyone in the Leman Family Association, we wish to extend our fondest farewell wishes to Katja von Glinowiecki and her family as they relocate to the Germany next month.
我们代表乐盟家委会的每一位成员，向即将搬到德国的Katja von Glinowiecki和她的家庭送去最深挚的祝福，
For the past three years, Katja has been a very active parent within the LFA and has served in many different roles. She spent much time regularly sorting and arranging donated uniforms to be used in our Pre-Loved Uniform Program. Using one of her many talents, Katja made the flower arrangements for our Teacher Appreciation Dinner, and she organized the purchase, packaging and distribution of the gifts. As part of the Welcome Committee, Katja served as the liaison between the LFA and the German families, warmly welcomed them to the school and provided helpful information and tips on living in Chengdu. Katja played a big part in organizing the German booth on International Day last year and encouraged strong participation within the German community. Leading by example, Katja inspired a lot of parents to open up for more school and LFA social activities, and we enjoyed splendid evenings in Kempinski and Fairmont Hotel.
Katja, your reputation preceded you, and many of us knew so much about you well before meeting you. You are known for your reliability and commitment, and your structured way of working and positive critical approach towards school programs and activities are deeply admired. Whenever questions about shopping, restaurants and travel come up in conversation, the answer is always the same. You should ask Katja! Your willingness to share your resources and travel adventures will be missed more than you know. We’ve all learned so much from you, and your wonderfully enthusiastic nature will be missed at LIS and in Chengdu.
We would like to thank you and your family for being so active in the school and the community. Your efforts and participation have served as a shining example of how each of us can contribute time and talent to get things done and create an inspiring atmosphere at LIS. We wish you all the best as you continue your journey.
