I was born in 1994 in San José, Costa Rica to a Costa Rican father and Guatemalan mother. I was raised in San José Costa Rica. Ever since I was a little girl always knew I wanted to be a teacher.
I began studying English in 1999 at multiple well-known institutions in Costa Rica where I have acquired a prominent level of professional English, certified by the American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTF).
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Bilingual Preschool teaching from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica in 2017. I am currently studying a Licentiate in Preschool Teaching at Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED); with my graduation scheduled for mid-2019.
I am currently studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in Universidad Estatal a Distancia. I am certified with TKT (Teaching knowledge test) on all 3 modules by the University of Cambridge.
I previously worked as a Kindergarten head teacher in Lean and Play Preschool in Heredia. I began working at Country Day School as a classroom teaching assistant in September of 2016.
In my free time, I enjoy music and playing the violin, which I have studied it for 10 years. I have been happily married since 2016.
