After I graduated high school in 2009, I was ready to go to university. Unsure of which career I wanted, I started to study dentistry with the dream of working in the pediatric area. There was only one thing I was very sure about, I wanted to work with children. After almost two years of studying dentistry, I decided it was not my path and I took a short break from university. Months after, I took the decision to study English Education for Elementary School and Psychopedagogy. At the same time, I began to work at a very small school close to my house. I discovered and created my own path.
I started working at Country Day School in January 2015 as a teaching assistant in Preparatory. In July 2016, I moved into a teaching position in Kindergarten. Country Day school is a special place and I love teaching here.
In 2015, I completed two university degrees: English Education for Elementary School from Universidad Estatal a Distancia and Psychopedagogy from Universidad Autónoma de Centoamérica. I have had the opportunity to give talks at the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamerica on topics such as Autism and Albert Ellis' Rational Emotional Theory.
As learning is my passion, I am continuing my university studies. I am currently studying psychopedagogy to enrich my career at Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica. I expect to start studies in psychology next year.
In my free time, I also enjoy hiking, yoga, and nutrition, and am passionate about skin care and nature.
