Jenna Glaza - Country Day School

Biology Teacher

In 2016, I graduated with a Biology B.A. from the University of Iowa. I continued to study at the University of Iowa in pursuit of a Masters of Arts in Teaching Science Education. During this time, I received my Single Subject Credentials in Biology and Chemistry and an All Science Subjects Teaching Credential.

I have been teaching at Country Day School in Costa Rica for one full year, where I taught Physics and Environmental Science.  This new year I have taken on Biology and AP Biology here at CDS. During my time in Costa Rica, I have been enjoying learning more about the culture and natural beauty that comes with living here. My hobbies include teaching STEAM as an elective, bird watching, and traveling throughout Latin America learning more about the world.
