Markiesa Westphal - Country Day School

Math Teacher

I joined the Country Day School community at the start of the 2017-18 school year.  The last year has been filled with lots of growth and new adventures.

I graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI in 2016.  I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Mathematics Education, with a Spanish Studies certification.  Upon graduating, I spent time in Madrid, Spain to further my studies in Spanish language and Hispanic culture.  I then worked as a first and second-grade teacher at a private school in Wisconsin.  Prior to teaching, I worked as a therapist for children with Autism, and as an educational director at an after-school program.

Outside of school, I love spending time outdoors, exploring and hiking, traveling, trying new food, participating in athletics, and relaxing with friends and family.
