Madinat Khalifa Primary Headlines | Monday, 18 November 2019

Dear Parents,

Due to sporting fixtures, staff meetings and illness, I had the privilege of teaching across Primary over the last week.

I saw the full spectrum of subjects and ages whether it be Year 1/2 phonics, mathematical problem-solving in Year 4 or researching animals native to Qatar in Year 6. And I have to say it was an incredibly rewarding experience. As I left school on Thursday afternoon,  I felt even more proud of the students, teachers and the engaging and innovative learning experiences we offer our students at Madinat Khalifa Primary.

Year 4MA assembly

Thursday’s class assembly showcased 4MA’s learning from the International Primary Curriculum topic ‘How Humans Work’. Through songs, quizzes and some rather disgustingly brilliant demonstrations the audience were taken on a whirlwind tour around the body and its major systems and organs. A thoroughly enjoyable assembly – well done to 4MA!

Next Academic Year

You will have received an email from our Admissions Team about next academic year. If you have any questions or concerns please do speak to our Admissions Officer, Vanessa Polaina, or myself or Mr Douch. Last Saturday we held our first assessment morning for next year’s Year 1 class, we had over 20 families attend and this demonstrated the high-regard in which Compass International School is held in the wider community. As with last few years, we expect student numbers at MK to be at close to capacity, so please do return the re-enrolment form as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Have a wonderful week.
