Themaid gets musical Our fantastic music department has been very proactive with several performances and competitions taking place across of our campuses. Themaid gets musical-themaid-gets-musical-Untitled design  20211213T152630924

Over the last number of weeks, our music departments have been busy with events and competitions taking place across all our campuses. 

 

In Themaid, music teacher Ms. Davies has overseen the 'Compass has talent' competition which has seen Compass students showcase their talents across all four campuses.

 

The following student acts will go through to Round 2 of ‘Compass Has Talent! All 5 candidates who have won first, second and third prizes will receive a ‘Special Achievement Award Certificate for ‘Best in House’, 30 house points and go forward to represent the Themaid campus. 

 

First Prize:

Antonio Peralta-Bermudez and Tudor Galatanu (8B, East) Saxophone and Piano duet

 

Second Prize:  

Sujata Lee (6A, North) Piano solo

 

Joint Third Prize:

Faisal Al-Henzab (5A, East) Lego Film

Manar Salhi (5A, North) Keyboard solo

 

The following students will receive a ‘Special Achievement Award Certificate for Participation’ and 20 house points each!

Dana Alajez (6B, East, sketch design)

Leona Sturm (5A, East, vocal solo)

Isabella Thomas (5A, West, vocal solo)

Aurora Elena Kutzelnig (1A, West, gymnast)
