Head of Early Years

After graduating university, I taught English abroad in South Korea and then Hong Kong. This experience ignited my love for working with children, so I decided to return home to Glasgow to complete my PGDE. After teaching in Scotland I knew I wanted to teach internationally and so I was delighted to accept a position as an EYFS teacher at the British School of Guangzhou in China. Here I got the experience of working in a busy Early Years environment alongside some outstanding teachers and wonderful children. After 2 years working in China I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to set up the brand new EYFS campus at Nord Anglia International School, Hong Kong. This gave me invaluable experience setting up a new school and watching it grow and thrive.

After 4 years living in Asia I have decided to move to the Middle East and I am so excited to explore a new country and learn all about a new culture and language.

In my spare time I love socialising with my friends, sightseeing, yoga, reading a good book and hanging out with dogs!

I am so proud to be part of Nord Anglia Education and I am delighted to be joining the team at Compass International School Doha.
