I have many years of progressive experience working as a Learning Support Assistant and in Special Education Needs. Prior to relocating to Qatar, I was working in an International British School in Muscat, Oman.
I have an International Diploma in Special Education Needs and I have completed Foundation Course on Education of Children with Learning Disabilities. I hold an International Diploma in Strategic Teaching support for Dyslexia and Literacy from Dyslexia Action, UK. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Special Needs from University of Nottingham. Attending various workshops has made me aware of various emotional and social difficulties children face in school and strategies to help them.
I have a passion for helping children with challenges to learn, grow and enhance their self-worth. It would be one of my greatest moments if I can make a difference in a child’s life and to see that proud, happy expression on their faces when they do something which they thought they could never do in their life.
I have learnt that “nothing in life is impossible”. Once the problem is identified then it can be overcome with time, patience, belief, faith and a deep dedication to what we want
Outside school, I love reading books and travelling.
