After my time in Warsaw, I took on the role of Reception Teacher and High Performance Learning Leader at another NAE school, The British School of Guangzhou. This allowed me the opportunity to continue to develop independent, child-centred learning, taking this concept through with our Year 1 students. I believe in children using the outdoor areas as part of their learning experience, using real life objects to discover and become inquisitive learners
I am looking forward to utilising the skills learnt at our other Nord Anglia Education Schools to enhance the provision and learning of our school in Doha. Over the years I have developed a passion for teaching and I am constantly trying to do what’s best for our future leaders. I look forward to a new and exciting challenge at Compass International School Doha.
I continue to enjoy travelling the globe in search of exciting experiences. I really like playing golf, even though I am no way near as good as I would like to be. However, I believe in our school’s ambitious approach, never giving up and continually trying to become the best I can be. I can now make a very simple loaf of bread after many baking disasters and enjoy extending my baking skills.
I will be accompanied in Doha by my wife Victoria Creissen, who is a speech and language therapist and my beautiful daughter Eleanor Rose Creissen. We are thoroughly looking forward to becoming part of the Doha community and exploring the Middle East region.
