I graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and went on to work as a sports teacher in a small Preparatory School in Surrey. This gave me the drive to complete a PGCE, which I studied at Roehampton University in London specialising in the Early Years Foundation Stage. I am extremely passionate about providing engaging, exciting and memorable experiences for young children. As an Early Years teacher, I strive to ensure my children develop a love of learning, build resilience and encourage all to be lifelong learners. I have a wealth of experience teaching in both Nursery and Reception classes and ensure that my children drive their own learning through child-initiated play and their own interests. Most recently, I have been leading a FS2 team in a large British International school in Dubai.
Outside of work I love to travel and visit new places around the world. Sport is a big part of my life, particularly running, swimming and netball. I also enjoy exploring different places in the UAE with my rescue dog Roxy!
I greatly look forward to meeting you and your child as they start their new journey at NAS Dubai.
