primary teacher helping year 3 students in maths class

Ben Coley

Having spent several years working with children as a cricket coach, I made the decision to enter the teaching profession having completed my degree in Journalism from Cardiff University.

From there I moved back home to the Midlands where I gained a PGCE in Primary Education from Warwick University. Before moving out to Dubai in 2016, I spent 3 years teaching at a small school in Warwick.

As a teacher, I feel it is vitally important to create an environment children feel safe and happy in to provide them with the best opportunity to thrive. I aim to help the children to not only succeed academically, but also provide them with the skills, attitude and an outlook that will help them throughout their life.

Outside of school, I am a sports enthusiast. I especially enjoy playing cricket and golf, alongside having a keen interest in football and rugby. I also love travelling and visiting new places. Since moving to Dubai, I have been fortunate to travel to many fantastic places, and love sharing these adventures with the children.
