Below are the steps to take to ensure you’ll be prioritized for admissions consideration, while also receiving timely and thorough answers to the questions that are important to you.
1. Submit an admission application.
2. Complete our Lower School Admission Application Supplement Form.
3. Ask a current teacher to complete the required Teacher Recommendation Form.
4. Provide copies of current academic records to admissions@nbps.org. We require report cards/progress reports reflecting previous year and current mid-year information. We have a Request for Records Form for your convenience (if applicable). Please note that we will not accept a transcript prior to December 1 as we are looking to receive the most recent grade report.
5. Provide copy of standardized test scores (if applicable).
6. Submit a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport.
7. Once all requirements have been submitted, the Office of Admissions will contact you to schedule an assessment and may ask to schedule a classroom visit day for your child.

Upper School students seeking admission to our residential life program must also complete our Boarding Admission application and be prepared to virtually interview with NBPS’s Boarding Admission Manager.
International students who require an F1 visa to study in the US must provide a copy of their passport and a financial document (such as a bank statement) reflecting available funds to cover their cost of attendance. This is required for NBPS to issue the student’s I–20.
Since 1957, Lighthouse Point Academy (LPA) has been the leading South Florida school program for students with mild specific learning differences. Our program serves students in Grades 3–12 as an integral part of North Broward Prep.
Applicants to the academy are required to complete a psychological-educational evaluation. The evaluation enables the LPA admission committee to determine the appropriateness of our program for your child.
Students may apply for the Arts Academy before their 9th, 10th, or 11th grade year. The Arts Academy application process allows students to display their readiness for the admission committee. The committee reviews each student’s completed application and audition results to assess whether they will be successful within the Arts Academy program.
Students are admitted into the Arts Academy on a rolling basis, pending NBPS acceptance.
