Testing Information ~ WPS CEEB and ACT Code: 101871
ACT Registration ~Students must self-register for the ACT with Writing no later than the spring of junior year. (February test date)
SAT and Subject Test Registration ~ Students are encouraged to self-register for the SAT with Writing no later than the spring of junior year (March test date). Register for the SAT Subject tests if the schools you are applying to require them (highly selective schools). Take the SAT Subject tests, if required, during the fall of your Senior year.
TOEFL Test or IELTS Test ~ Required for students who have not attended high school in the United States for four years AND who need to show English proficiency. Either test is acceptable for most colleges and universities.
PSAT/NMSQT ~ As part of our college readiness preparation, students at Windermere Preparatory School are administered the PSAT in Grades Nine, Ten and Eleven. In Grade Eleven students who are U.S. citizens are eligible for National Merit Scholarships. Windermere Prep provides test preparation for their top 10th grade scorers in order to improve their opportunity for scholarships in Grade Eleven. The PSAT is administered in October at Windermere Preparatory School; students are registered by the school.
Academic and Behavior Record Policies
In accordance with National Association of College and Admissions Counselors (NACAC) guidelines, Windermere Preparatory School reports all High School grades and major behavior infractions to colleges when asked for this information.
