Miss Au is a graduate from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Primary English). With great enthusiasm for teaching and various international curricula, she served on Hong Kong Prospective Teacher Association and earned her TESOL and TEFL certification before entering the teaching profession. Her teaching career began in a primary school designated for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) children, notably with ethnic minority students, in which she facilitated their adaptation to the local education system and their integration into the community.
Inspired by her high school teacher, she is committed to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for her students. She aims to energize her classroom by encouraging risk-taking in learning and creating a sense of community. She is dedicated to equity and firmly believes the power of developing meaningful relationships is critical to successful learning.
Outside of school, she is a very keen and active sportswoman. She is particularly passionate about lacrosse, dragon boating, volleyball and is further developing her lacrosse skills in the Hong Kong (HPP) team.
