A key development area for this age group is that of social and emotional development and we focus on facilitating opportunities for this to happen. The ability to understand and regulate emotions, to cultivate relationships, be resilient when faced with frustration, and to understand social expectations are key life skills that our teachers nurture.
We encourage social development in and outside of the classroom and achieve this in a variety of ways. This includes opportunities for children to mix with other classes and teachers, social events, and our House system. Our programme helps to build self-confidence, encourages exploration and fosters inquisitiveness. We want our students to expand their knowledge and to be inquisitive about the world in which they live.
