    Head of Year 3 & 3A Class Teacher

    Ms. S. Halmshaw

    After graduating from the University of Leicester with a degree in Psychology, Ms. Halmshaw then went on to get a job working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. It was this experience that lead to her to decide to start a career in teaching. After completing her PGCE (again at the University of Leicester) she successfully gained a job working in East London. She has now worked in Bethnal Green for four years and this has given her invaluable experience teaching children from diverse cultures, backgrounds and religions.

    Mr. C. Cottrell

    Prior to coming to Hong Kong, Mr. Cottrell taught in Beijing, Shanghai and Dalian as well as in the UK.  He has a degree in the History of Art from London University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in primary school teaching from Nottingham University. He is also a qualified English as a second language teacher with a TESOL from St Mary’s College, Twickenham.

    Ms. Watt graduated from the University of Glasgow in Scotland and taught for one year in Scotland. She has taught in Doha in a Nord Anglia School for the last four years. She decided to move abroad to experience a new culture and meet new people.

    Mr. D. Atkinson

    Mr. Atkinson graduated in 2008 in Primary Education with QTS at Sunderland University. His first teaching post was at a Primary School in County Durham. During this time, he had whole school responsibility for P.E., ICT and Educational Visits and taught across the whole of Key Stage 2. Mr. Atkinson then moved to Hong Kong and taught Year 3 and 4 at an international school for a further two years with whole school responsibility for Science, ICT and Assessment. After a brief return home to teach at a Primary school in the UK, he decided to return to Hong Kong.

    Mr. Fielding holds a first class degree in Primary Education from the University of Roehampton. Since graduating he has taught a variety of year groups within schools in Inner City London. Prior to teaching he worked as a professional tennis coach and completed a P.E. specialism during his teacher training.
