Mr. B. Wong

I have worked in various schools in Essex and London teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 Music to students from the ages of 11-18 and from a wide range of backgrounds.

I am passionate about music education and believe every child should have the opportunity to enrich their lives with music.  In the classroom, I strive to create a happy, inclusive environment where students feel comfortable to share their music with one another.  To provide students with musical opportunities I set up many extra-curricular clubs in the schools I have worked at, such as school orchestras, ukulele groups, brass groups, concert bands, string groups and guitar clubs.  I strongly believe music benefits all aspects of learning and development, as well as being enjoyable, and should be accessible to everyone.

Outside of school, I sing regularly in my local choir and have performed in locations around London including the Royal Opera House and Royal Festival Hall.  I enjoy playing the piano and trumpet, and look forward to continuing this in Hong Kong.  I also enjoy playing badminton, rock climbing and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
