Ms. E. Kent-Jones

E. Kent-Jones

ASN teacher

Miss Kent-Jones graduated from St. Mary’s College, Twickenham with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education. Since graduating, she has worked across Early Years and Key Stage 1 and 2, co-ordinating Art and History in mainstream schools. Previous to teaching she worked in a respite centre for children with Special Educational Needs.

Since moving to Hong Kong, Miss Kent-Jones has taught in a partial inclusion unit attached to a mainstream international school, opening the unit and helping it expand over four years, as well as coordinating English for Key Stage 1 and 2.

I am a passionate teacher who prides myself on creating opportunities for children, of all abilities and backgrounds, to challenge themselves and become independent learners willing to take risks and fulfil their full potential.

I share my enthusiasm for learning with the children and believe that it is important to encourage the skills to make them life-long learners.

Whilst living in Hong Kong I have enjoyed spending my time hiking, playing hockey and keeping up to date with my favourite football team at home space - Fulham FC.
