Head of Modern Foreign Language, Windsor A House Tutor

    Ms. C. Chamoret

Ms. Chamoret is from Corsica, a French island in the Mediterranean Sea and has lived in Europe and the USA during her childhood. After obtaining a BA (Hons) in French with International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London, she decided to verify her eagerness to teach by first undertaking a year as an English teaching assistant in a primary school in Mallorca, Spain. She then completed her PGCE in French and Spanish as Foreign Languages from Southampton University and started her Teaching & Learning mentoring and teaching career in the South of England for several years.

In 2017 she decided to move to South America and taught French at KS3, IGCSE and IB levels in Caracas, Venezuela, for three years, where she became Head of Languages as well. This will be her first time setting foot in Asia.

She is very much looking forward to sharing and discovering others' best practice at NAIS as she is keen on consistently providing the best and most relevant teaching methods for each and every student. She believes everyone's learning experience should be enjoyable, appropriately challenging and leading to a strong development of self awareness on all levels. She is also looking forward to joining and managing a strong Foreign Languages Department, with a unified focus on love for languages and cultures from around the world.

Ms. Chamoret loves to discover places and meet new people in her free time as well as reading, painting, hiking and a variety of other sports.
