Bulldogs Announce Coach Ybarra as Varsity Tennis Head Coach The British School of Houston is proud to announce Ryan Ybarra as the new Boys & Girls Varsity Tennis Coach for the 2021 season.

 

The British School of Houston is proud to announce Ryan Ybarra as the new Boys & Girls Varsity Tennis Coach for the 2021 season. Ybarra joins the Bulldogs from Houston's leading Tennis trainers King Daddy Sports. 

The Texas-native, won three state high-school titles with All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX.) and ranked top 5 in Texas throughout 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s. Ybarra was a Five Star recruit and ranked in the Top 50 nationally by www.tennisrecruiting.net and won five rounds at the National Event Copper Bowl. He also had several victories in International Level Junior events and competed in ATP Futures events.

Ybarra went on to play collegiate NCAA Division I tennis at the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he helped the UNCW Seahawks capture their first-ever CAA Conference Championship and achieved an NCAA Div I Top-50 Doubles national ranking.

"I am happy to have been given this opportunity to teach tennis at this wonderful school," commented Coach Ybarra. "I look forward to getting to know and working with each of the student-athletes in order to improve, have fun, and most importantly WIN! This is just the beginning of a program that will succeed and compete for State Championships and I want you to be a part of it."

Coach Ybarra and the Varsity team will start the season with a trip to Fort Bend Christian Academy on February 15th, 2021.

February: 1,3, 8, 10

March: 1, 3, 10, 15, 17
