We have a distinguished track record of college and university placement around the world, from the United Kingdom, United States, Europe and beyond. Year after year, our exam results demonstrate a commitment to exceptional standards of teaching and learning. Our university placements bears this out.
This year our US applicants have received outstanding offers from across the country. In Texas, many have been given places at Baylor, Texas A&M, UT Austin, University of Houston, and Trinity. Throughout the rest of the USA, students have offers for SCAD, NYU, University of Arizona, Case Western Reserve, University of Rochester to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying Computer Science, Physics, Pre-Med, Business, Economics and Engineering.
Our UK bound students are heading to University of Oxford, University of Manchester, University of Exeter, University of Warwick, Imperial College London, King's College, Manchester Metropolitan, Nottingham Trent, looking to study Business Management, English, Law and Accounting. Further afield students have been offered places at Van Hail Larenstein, University of Gronnigan, Maastricht University, University of Calgary to name but a few.
Oxford University - remains Number One in The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, retaining the top spot for the 5th consecutive year. It is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious academic institutions in the world.
UT Austin – recognized by multiple rankings in 2021 as one of the top public universities in the US and among the best universities in the world. Times ranked UT no 5 in the US public university, no 17 in the US and no 50 in the world.
The unique, international curriculum of the British International School of Houston provides outstanding pathways to colleges and universities. Students benefit from the advice and guidance of exceptional world class teachers and our college and career counselors, who have experience placing students at educational institutions around the world.
At BIS Houston, we also offer university credit for specialisted pathways. We partner with various universities (Embry Riddle, Savannah College of Art & Design and Baylor) to offer university credit to students pursuing specialised degrees in the arts, engineering, and other majors.
And finally, we are proud to announce, so far, our 2022 cohort have offers of over $2m in scholarship!
