I have had success musically, playing across the UK and Europe at festivals and international conventions where I was sponsored and had recording and distribution contracts. I am also highly experienced in sound engineering, both in the studio and live. I am a very keen mechanic, have built 2 custom motorcycles and restored another 2 classics. I have set up an auto club at the International school where students can learn the basics of car repair and fault finding. Having left the advertising industry, along with my music and mechanical experience, I am able to bring real life experiences of working in the business environment, directly into the classroom.
What the students say about me
"Mr Lifton challenges me to learn. He makes you think about what you say and how you say it."
"His lessons are really fun because you don’t feel you’re at school. We always know why we are doing something, but when we do the activities, it’s really fun, and it makes you remember the experience so it’s really interesting and educational.”
"Mr Lifton seems very abstract, yet his teaching is effective and I love the way he explains things."
"He is very organised but has a casual way of teaching which makes me want to learn more in his lesson."
This school is different to all others I have worked at because…
