My career began in Customer Service with British Airways in the U.K. at the Birmingham airport. After almost five years working in the airline industry, I began my journey in teaching and I have now been working in International Schools all over the world for more than 25 years. I am also workshop leader and school inspector for the International Baccalaureate Organisation. I have held various positions in teaching, but the majority of my experience is in Early Childhood Education.
Since 2013 I have worked for Nord Anglia Education as their Director of Admissions and Marketing initially in Budapest, Hungary and now here in Houston. I am delighted to be part of an organisation that is passionate about education as much as I am.
Travel and adventure have always been a passion for me and my family. My four children have spent their lives in International Schools and are incredibly fortunate to have had such an amazing education. We have lived all over Europe, North America and Zimbabwe and have had amazing experiences wherever we go. Although moving countries can be a challenge we are always happy to get involved in local life and the community.
This school is different to all others I've worked at because...
This school and its facilities are second to none and our campus in Katy, Texas is like no other I have ever seen. The innovative and inspiring approach to teaching and learning is quite simply astounding. Of all the schools I have ever worked in I believe that the staff, students and families are the most welcoming I have ever come across and have welcomed myself and my family into its community with open arms. I am very proud to be part of the incredible journey of The British International School of Houston.
