Primary Teacher

I 've just completed  my seventh year of teaching and worked at the British College of Brazil in Sao Paulo for the past three years. I loved the many incredible opportunities I had to travel within South America. It was hard to leave such an incredible country, but I am very excited about my new adventure moving to Houston.

Before I became a teacher, I studied Music at the University of Manchester and then moved to Canada for a year to work and travel before continuing my studies to train as a primary teacher.

I taught in Leeds in England for two and a half years before deciding to travel to Australia, where I worked as a teacher in Sydney for a year. After an incredible year, I decided to stay abroad and explore another part of the world and moved to Brazil.

An interesting place I have visited: I have visited the Amazon rainforest where I slept in the jungle in a hammock and ate piranha that I caught in the river.

Hobbies: In my spare time, I enjoy playing viola in an orchestra. I also enjoy dancing lessons, particularly ballet and tap, and enjoy choreographing dances for the school productions we have put on in both Primary and Secondary.
