Abhijay

Abhijay

Space Doctor

He fidgets in his seat as he eagerly awaits his table to be released to gather art supplies. He knows what he’s going to draw for the art project and he isn’t afraid to show it. He selects each color he will need to draw out the map for his creation- a space ambulance. This is only step one and he quickly thinks of exactly what he’ll need to bring this creation to life for their curriculum show at the end of the month.

Abhijay is a pre-K 4 student at The Village School whos favorite subjects are space and the human body. He knows exactly what he wants to be when he grows up, a doctor who practices in space. How will he get there? A space ambulance of course.

Abhijay has no shortage of curiosity or excitement in his learning and is a great example of what the Finna Learning Center is about. He takes on problems and rarely finds one he can’t overcome. Though he’s only been at The Village School for one year he knows that the projects he has worked on here make a difference and looks forward to class each day.

Abhijay is the picture of global citizenship and knows that the things he learns can be applied anywhere. When asked his hometown he gladly replied, “I belong everywhere- I am an Indian, I was born in Australia, I was in France before this. Houston is my home now.”
