Previously, I taught first and third grades, ELL and Gifted/Talented in public schools in Fort Worth, Tx. Upon moving to Scottsdale, AZ, I substituted in the Paradise Valley School system and at Rancho Solano Private Schools for a year, then became a full time teacher the next year for Rancho. I taught third grade there for 5 years, and then became Instructional Specialist for the school, covering 5 campuses, grades PK - 12th. I enjoyed working with teachers in their classrooms and working with our parents.

Spare time: My family is very important to me and we enjoy visiting our five children and four grandchildren. My husband and I love watching movies, football, and fishing. We also help out our oldest son and youngest son in their family business, when we can get to Seattle and Fort Worth.
