Parent Academy: Critical Thinking: A TOK Lesson for Parents

In this session, Lawrence Hill, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Coordinator at Nord Anglia sister school Nord Anglia International School Dublin will give you a taste of what TOK is all about. This session aims to allow you to partake in creative, critical thinking activities that are the hallmarks of TOK lessons and leave with an understanding of how this compulsory IB Diploma course is structured and assessed. Bring your pen and paper for this session along with an open, creative mindset. You may even be called upon!

About our speaker

Lawrence Hill, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Coordinator

Lawrence studied Geography and American Studies at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He has spent the last decade teaching Geography, History, Individuals and Societies and Theory of Knowledge around the world - Australia, Indonesia, Peru and now Ireland.

Since joining NAIS Dublin he has held the position of Head of Individuals and Societies alongside coordinating the TOK course and is passionate about integrating skills in collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication across the curriculum.
