Many parents have heard us say that public examination results are not the only way to measure our students’ success and achievements.
And yet, I cannot describe the delight and utter sense of joy our staff and students experienced when they were finally able to access the public examination results for 2018. This is no surprise; these headlines highlight only a fraction of the successes enjoyed by the so many.
I am mindful of Campbell Brown’s words, ‘human faces shouldn't get lost amid the statistics’ , and as we celebrate these figures, we must remember that behind every number lies a story of determination, commitment and sheer hard work. The individual stories behind these figures are simply inspiring. Very well done BSKL students; and thank you to the teachers who made this possible.
