Mr Alexander Biggs

Deputy Head of Maths

Mr Alexander Biggs has been teaching internationally for 3 years at BSKL. Prior to this he spent 4 years in England working in the state system, in both Leicester and inner-city London. Alexander believes in equipping his pupils with the learning skills to be successful not just in Maths, but in future life, and enjoys engaging with the latest educational research.

In my spare time, I loves to read, particularly historical fiction books and non-fiction on current affairs scandals. I am a keen sportsman, enjoying football and badminton especially, and loves to travel around South East Asia exploring new countries, cultures and cuisines.

Student happiness means pupils are learning in an environment that makes them feel safe and able to take risks. Pupils feel supported by their teachers so they are unafraid to make mistakes, eager to collaborate with their peers, and willing to work hard to achieve their goals. Creating the conditions for success, both academically and pastorally, is a crucial part of our role as teachers.
