Ms Amanda Tai Laragione

Amanda Larogonie

Head of Drama

BA Hons. Technical Theatre (East 15 Acting School and The University of Essex), GTP Drama (Mid Essex ITT Consortium), TEFL Cert.

Amanda graduated from East 15 Acting School and worked in the costume department of various theatres in London, including The Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

After completing her teacher training, Amanda has taken on additional roles such as Head of House, Trip leader and, of course, production director. This will be her third post as Head of Department after having also taught English language and literature, and English as a Second Language.

Amanda is thrilled to be in Malaysia, in such a culturally rich and diverse place as Kuala Lumpur, and to be part of the dynamic team at BISKL. Some of her favourite memories include watching the Prima Ballerina of Sleeping Beauty pirouette, side stage of the Opera House, as well as taking a ride on an elephant through the jungle of Chiang Mai and she is excited to make new memories here, with her two young children and husband.
