Head of Early Years

Mrs Thomas has been working in education for twelve years. She has experience teaching across the Early Years and Primary age ranges.

BA Primary Education, Durham University; UK QTS

About

Mrs Thomas has been working in education for twelve years. She has experience teaching across the Early Years and Primary age ranges. The majority of her career so far has been focused upon teaching in a number of Primary Schools in England, in and around Buckinghamshire and Durham. Charlotte also previously taught in Zaragoza, in Spain, before moving to her current position in Myanmar, as Head of The Early Years Foundation Stage at The British School Yangon.

She is passionate about enabling personalised, meaningful learning to be unlocked for every child in her care, via delivery of differentiated teaching of the highest quality. Charlotte constantly increases her knowledge with regards to different teaching methods, assessment for learning, positive behaviour management in the classroom and effective school and staff leadership. She enjoys keeping up-to-date with the latest in academic theory and research in education.

In her spare time, Charlotte also enjoys travelling, reading and film.
