We are extremely proud of our talented musicians who represented NACIS at the recent Education Expo on 13 October. Their virtuoso performances lit up the auditorium and delighted their audience. They are wonderful examples of what our young people can achieve with determination, passion, hard work, skill and of course, good teaching!
The violin and cello duet played by Lillian(cello) and Elain (violin) from 8 Oak and delighted the audiences with Holst’s St. Paul’s Jig. Our Lang Lang of NACIS, Michael Li from 7 Willow shook ‘The Place’ with his marathoner’s fingers running through the keyboard with the song called ‘Crave’. Tavia from 3 Sycamore became the star of the stage with her ‘Fish’ dance.
On 28 October, our orchestra members will be performing for another community event. Also, the registration for Nord Anglia Performing Arts of China for the orchestra festival will start this week for NACIS Orchestra players and Advanced Performers. There will be only 17 students chosen for the event. The event will take place in 7-9 March with a guest conductor from the Juilliard School Pre-College.
Many thanks to all those who support our students on their journey and we look forward to even greater success in the future as they go forward to the Nord Anglia Performing Arts festival in China. Well done students!
